Books condemned by the Apostolic See are to be judged prohibited everywhere among the nations, and into whatever language they are turned.

Force of the article

123. By this article the universal force of proscriptions which proceed from the Holy See is merely brought out. Concerning this force, cf. n. 23, 62, 95.
