Chapter XVII: Spiritual Reading, nn. ¶2330, ¶2335, ¶2346 & ¶2348 (4 passages — hover a number to read it)
Treated under the broader heading Devotion — Wouters, Manual of Moral Theology · McHugh–Callan, Moral Theology · Bucceroni, Institutions of Moral Theology · Tanquerey · Vermeersch, Theologia Moralis · Marc, Institutiones Morales · Prümmer, Manuale Theologiae Moralis · Merkelbach, Pastoral Questions · Merkelbach, Summa Theologiae Moralis · Concina, Compendium · Bontempi, Palladium Theologicum V — these works do not divide the matter as finely as we do here, so their treatment stands one heading up (ed.)
