Wouters, Manual of Moral Theology
Vol. I, Bk. II, Tr. II, Diss. I, Pt. VII, Sect. I, Ch. II, Art. I, § VI, Point IV. On the Effects of a Contract for a Day
I. Notion. A contract for a day is had when a time certainly future is assigned at which the contract is to be executed. I said certainly future; for if it is uncertain whether the time will ever be future, as if you say, "when you have recovered from the dangerous illness," a contract under a suspensive condition is presumed to be intended.
II. The effects are sufficiently drawn out from the notion; besides this, let the law of one's country be consulted.
