Title — Liber Sextus
Title I: On the Life and Honesty of Clerics
Chapter I
A cleric who practices the entertainer's art for a year loses clerical privilege by the law itself if, after being admonished a third time, he does not desist. John Andrew.
Boniface VIII.
Clerics who, detracting in no small measure from the dignity of the clerical order, make themselves entertainers or goliards or buffoons shall, if they have practiced that ignominious art for a year, be deprived by the law itself of every clerical privilege; but if for a shorter time, they shall be deprived of it if, after being admonished a third time, they have not come to their senses.
