Title XXVI: On the Office of the Sacristan

Let the sacristan know that he is subject to the archdeacon, and that the custody of the sacred vessels, ecclesiastical vestments, and the whole ecclesiastical treasury pertains to his care, as do the things pertaining to lights, whether in wax or in oil, [or to the distribution of sacred chrism].

Ut sciat se sacrista subiectum archidiacono, et ad eius curam pertinere custodiam sacrorum vasorum, vestimentorum ecclesiasticorum seu totius thesauri ecclesiastici, nec non quae ad luminaria pertinent, sive in cera, sive in oleo, [sive ad distributionem sacri chrismatis.]
