From the Council of Lleida, in Tarraconian Spain, A.D. 524
¶1134.
Canon VI. He who has inflicted the violence of defilement upon a penitent widow (who, that is, has vowed the religious life) or upon a religious virgin, if she herself has been unwilling to be separated from him, let her likewise be segregated from communion and from the fellowship of Christians. But if she who suffered violence has returned to holy religion, let the sentence given persevere in him alone until he publicly does penance.
