Chapter I. On the Acts of the Virtue of Religion

The principal acts of Religion are adoration, prayer, sacrifice, vow, oath, and the sanctification of certain days... Concerning the last three it will be said in the 2nd and 3rd precept. Concerning sacrifice, in the Treatise on the Eucharist. Here therefore only concerning adoration and prayer.
