Chapter II. On Injury in Species, or on Sins Against Justice

¶1.

Here one must treat only of injuries in goods of fortune, namely of theft and its species. - For concerning other injuries, namely in goods of the body, of honor, and of reputation, enough has been said in the Treatise on the fifth and eighth precept of the Decalogue.

¶2.

One must treat 1. of the nature and gravity of theft; 2. of the causes excusing from theft.
