ARTICLE I: ON THE POSITIVE OBLIGATIONS OF CLERICS

Clerics are chiefly obliged: 1° to sanctity of life; 2° to celibacy; 3° to ecclesiastical habit and tonsure; 4° to the canonical Hours; 5° to suitable knowledge; 6° to the ecclesiastical ministry to be performed fittingly; 7° to the obedience and due reverence to be furnished to the Bishop justly commanding. Concerning the four former here; concerning the rest in their proper places.
