CHAPTER I: ON THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE COMMON TO ALL RELIGIOUS

The things common to all Religious are: 1° the very nature or essence of the religious state; 2° the necessity of vocation to the religious state; 3° probation; 4° profession of the three vows according to some rule.
