Apostolic Letters Ad Apostolicae, August 22, 1851.

¶5.
N.B. Besides these errors explicitly noted, several others are implicitly reproved by the doctrine proposed and asserted which all Catholics ought most firmly to retain concerning the civil principate of the Roman Pontiff. Doctrine of this kind is luminously handed down in the Alloc. Quibus quantisque, April 20, 1849; in the Alloc. Si semper antea, May 20, 1850; in the Apostolic Letters Cum catholica Ecclesia, March 26, 1860; in the Alloc. Novos, September 28, 1860; in the Alloc. Jamdudum, March 18, 1861; in the Alloc. Maxima quidem, June 9, 1862.
