Article I: On Approbation And Jurisdiction

- APPROBATION and JURISDICTION are customarily used promiscuously, because Bishops in modern times grant each by one and the same act. Yet approbation is not the conferral of jurisdiction, and one can exist without the other, and in fact sometimes does exist, as will be clear from what is to be said. - Hence, the nature and necessity of each must be taught separately.
