Treatise — Marc, Institutiones Morales

Treatise III: On Charity

¶1.

Charity is the end of the precept (1 Tim. 1:5), and the bond of perfection (Col. 3:14). Often, in moral matters, the question is instituted: whether an action is according to or against charity, or against another virtue, for example justice. Hence with particular diligence one must treat: 1. of charity toward God; 2. of charity toward neighbor.
