Article I. On the Power of the Minister
¶54.
The power of the minister includes two essential elements: priestly order and competent jurisdiction. Concerning jurisdiction, which according to the discipline now in force is customarily granted together with approbation, certain questions occur which must be treated separately. Hence in this article we shall treat: 1. the power of order; 2. jurisdiction in general; 3. putative, doubtful, and probable jurisdiction; 4. the jurisdiction of religious and over religious; 5. the restriction of jurisdiction; 6. absolution from reserved cases.
