§ 7. On The Dominion Of Children Of Families According To Spanish And Italian Law
34.
34. These laws agree sufficiently and establish that the usufruct and administration of all goods which pertain to minor-aged persons132 belong to the parents, unless the contrary has been expressly established. But when children live outside the paternal house with the consent of the father, the goods acquired by them are left to their free disposition.133
132 In Spain a son becomes major-aged if he has completed twenty-three years (Cod. civ. a. 320); but in Italy after the completed twenty-first year of age (Cod. civ. a. 323).
133 Cf. Cod. civ. Hisp. a. 159 (in Larraga-Saralegui, Comentarios n. 693), and Cod. civ. Ital. a. 394-397 (in Marc, Instit. mor. I, n. 861).
