Article II. What Is Required for the Valid and Licit External Celebration of Matrimony

Two cases must be distinguished: 1. the ordinary celebration of matrimony; 2. the extraordinary celebration of matrimony, and indeed a) when danger of death is imminent, or b) in places where a priest cannot be had.
