I. Intercourse with a dead woman, necrophilia, seems to be pollution in act, with an affection toward fornication added (St. Alphonsus III, 466). The same must be said of intercourse with a statue or picture representing a woman.

II. Intercourse with a demon is reduced to bestiality, because it is with a diverse and living species. But there is added a sin of superstition on account of commerce with a demon; likewise an affection toward fornication or toward sodomy according as the demon presents itself under the form of a person of diverse or of the same sex as the one lying with it. But the fact that the demon presents itself under the form of a married woman, a nun, or a blood-relative does not cause there also to be present an affection toward adultery, sacrilege, or incest; for from the woman as married and so forth, pleasure and affection commonly abstract (St. Alphonsus III, 475).
