Section II. On Injustice and on Restitution
975.
The word injustice can be taken for a violation of commutative, distributive, or legal justice. Injustice taken thus generally is defined: the violation of another's right. Nevertheless injustice is especially understood of a violation of commutative justice. Of this alone we shall speak here, adding those things which regard the reparation of the said violation, that is, restitution. We shall speak first about injustice in common; then about restitution in common; then about injustice and restitution in particular cases.
