Section I. On the Prescribed Acts

By the first precept are prescribed: devotion, prayer, adoration, sacrifice, oblation, and the worthy handling of the sacraments. We pass over sacrifice and oblation, concerning which in the treatise on the Most Holy Eucharist; likewise the worthy handling of the sacraments, concerning which in the treatises on the different sacraments. Therefore there remain to be treated: devotion, prayer, and adoration.
