Part — Wouters, Manual of Moral Theology
Treatise I. On the Sacraments in General
(St. Thomas, part 3, qq. 60-65; St. Alphonsus, Theologia Moralis, book VI, nn. 1-94; Homo Apostolicus, tract 14, nn. 1-6.)1
We shall deal first with the sacraments considered in themselves, then with the administration, and finally with the reception of the sacraments. Those things, however, which are treated by dogmatic theologians we shall touch upon very briefly, especially for this end, that there may be had a view of the whole doctrine, and that the connection between dogmatic and moral doctrine may appear.
