§ VII. On Letting-Hiring
906.
Letting-hiring is a contract by which someone grants to another the use or fruits of a thing, or the work of a person, for a price or wage. He who grants the use or fruit of a thing, or the work of a person, is called the locator; he who pays the price or wage is called the lessee or hirer. There is added the letting of a work, or contract of completing a work, for example of building a house. We shall speak of each.
