Question — Decretum of Gratian
Question II
¶.
GRATIAN. That fault is worthy of suspension, as is clearly established by that chapter of the Council of Milevis. For if one who has believed that a cleric should be dragged before a civil judge is to be deprived of communion, much more is one worthy of suspension who did not hesitate to drag to secular judgment one who invoked the judgment of his own bishop.
GRATIANUS.
