C. I. One who is baptized while placed in sickness shall not be ordained a priest.
If anyone has been baptized while placed in sickness, he ought not to be ordained a priest—for his faith is not voluntary but from necessity—unless perhaps afterward his zeal and faith have been approved, or a scarcity of men has required it.
C. I. Non ordinetur presbiter, qui in egritudine constitutus baptizatur.
