Disputation — Bontempi, Palladium Theologicum V · from Schola Thomistica
Disputation II: On Unbelief
Among the unfaithful there are some who never received the faith, and these are the pagans: Others are those who rejected the faith once received, and these are heretics: Others, finally, who long worshiped the faith of the Savior under figures, but did not acknowledge it when it was manifested, and these are the Jews: Here we are to treat of unfaithfulness in general for the absence of faith, and when something is to be touched upon concerning the unbaptized unfaithful: in the following disputation, however, we shall discourse on heresy.
