Question VIII: Who is to be prayed to
English · Latin · BothHide topicsShow topics
One need not dwell long in this quaestio, since it suffers no difficulty whatever; for the worship of Religion is due to God, therefore he alone is to be prayed to, as the author of supernatural goods; for God alone gives grace and glory, Psalm. 83; and this is the worship of Religion.
BUT the Saints are to be prayed to, as intercessors: You will find this quaestio in the third part, Tractatu de Incarnat. disput. 23 quaestione 5.
23. quaestione 5.
