Disputation XXXV: On Whispering, Mockery, and Cursing
To Contumely and Detraction, of which we have spoken, are akin Whispering, Mockery, and Cursing; all of these are most hostile to Charity; and they inflict no small loss upon our neighbor: while the first forces him to part from a friend; the second suffuses him with shame; the third, finally, imprecates evil upon him. These three I shall treat in as many questions.
Has tres totidem quaestionibus absolvam.
